We are looking for a Project Manager / Product Owner to join our team in Rome, driving the delivery of IT and innovation projects. You will work at the intersection of business and technology, collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders while contributing to projects within the European innovation ecosystem.

What are you going to do?

To successfully deliver high-quality IT projects while acting as the bridge between business needs and technical execution, ensuring alignment, efficiency, and impact across all project phases.

Lead end-to-end delivery of IT/software projects (scope, timing, quality)
Act as Product Owner, managing and prioritizing the product backlog
Translate business needs into clear technical requirements
Collaborate closely with developers and technical teams

Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) in daily project execution
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including international partners
Monitor project performance and manage risks and dependencies
Contribute to projects within the EU innovation ecosystem (e.g. Horizon Europe)

About you

Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management and/or Product Ownership
Proven experience in hands-on project delivery within software environments
Strong experience working with developers and technical teams
Solid knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)

Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Exposure to EU-funded projects or European innovation ecosystem is a strong plus
Fluent in Italian and English
Based in Rome or able to relocate immediately and work 2–3 days onsite
