Annual meeting Immune-Image project in Berlin

The third Immune-Image annual meeting took place from October 10-11 in Berlin. We presented the progress on external & internal engagement, and the sustainability and communications activities.

About Immune-Image

The Immune-Image project aims to gain new insights in the use of non-invasive imaging technologies to track the activity of immune cells in the body. Ultimately, the project will make it easier to predict how patients will respond to treatment and monitor their progress during treatment, which will lead to more personalised immunotherapies.

Programme

During the meeting, work packages presented their progress in the project, and several speakers presented their ongoing research. The first day closed with an interactive session by a guest speaker, Daphne Feller from BrainExplainers on strengthening communication and performance in a project, from a neuroscience perspective. After this interesting but intense day, everyone worked together to create a delicious dinner during a cooking class and cocktail workshop. In our opinion a great way to get to know our Immune-Image partners in a more informal way.

Presentations and workshop

During the second day, PNO Life Sciences & Health* gave a presentation on communication and patient engagement within the project. Afterwards, PNO and Lawrencium Legal gave a joint workshop on sustainability and exploitation. During the workshop, participants were divided into four breakout sessions, each focusing on one key exploitable result. The aim of the workshop was to discuss the expectations for future development and the involvement of the partners beyond the funding period. The workshop was successful and relevant input was collected for our future sustainability activities.

All in all, it was a very productive meeting and great to finally meet our Immune-Image colleagues in person. To get an idea of the two very inspiring days, have a look at the aftermovie below!
