As a Consultant with an interest in financial and innovation projects, you will join our German team to support clients with EU funding programs, including the Innovation Fund and other large-scale initiatives. You will contribute to the preparation of funding proposals, data analysis, and project delivery, gaining hands-on experience while working on impactful innovation projects across Europe.

What are you going to do?

You will support our consultants and clients in developing strong project proposals, navigating EU funding programs, and turning innovative ideas into successful, funded projects, while building your expertise in financial analysis and EU funding in a structured, team-based environment.
  • Support the preparation of applications for EU funding programs (e.g. Innovation Fund and other initiatives).
  • Assist in financial analysis, cost modeling, and business case development.
  • Contribute to business process analysis and project structuring.
  • Perform data analysis using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar, and support in translating insights into clear outputs.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and supporting documents for funding applications.
  • Support communication with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across Europe in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Assist in project coordination and follow-up activities when needed.

What do we offer you?

  • Fixed-term contract for the first 12 months, with strong perspective for long-term collaboration.
  • Hybrid work model with strong on-site presence (3–4 days per week) in Leipzig or Düsseldorf, especially during onboarding.
  • Salary range: €43,000 – €45,000 gross per year, depending on experience.

About you

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience (including internships or first professional experience) in consulting, EU funding, research projects, or analytical roles.
  • Strong interest in EU funding, innovation projects, and financial analysis.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of Excel; familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work in an international environment.
  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
  • Proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a structured environment.
