Floating solar power system for Bluenewables

The PV-bos GROW project, which aimed to develop a modular and easy-to-install floating solar power system based on BlueNewables’ patented PV-bos technology in a Korean-Spanish consortium, counted on the support of PNO Innovation to successfully secured funding from the Korea Spain Strategic Program (KSSP 2024). The project is expected to make an important contribution to global efforts in the field of clean energy, particularly in areas with limited access to land or energy.

Siemens – Charging Energy Hub

The Charging Energy Hubs project, supported by the National Growth Fund, aims to speed up electric vehicle charging for logistics in the Netherlands. It tackles grid pressure and location challenges by testing smart energy systems using battery storage and renewable energy. With 30 partners and three pilot sites, the project supports cleaner, more efficient mobility and prepares for a wider rollout. PNO Innovation helped securing funding form the National Growth Fund.

Elyse Energy wins CARB AERO (FEED) project call

PNO Innovation successfully assisted Elyse Energy in drafting and submitting a proposal for the BioTJet project as part of the CARB AERO (FEED) project call (France 2030). This has resulted in the award of a government subsidy to produce 87,000 tons of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) by 2029. Using French technology and renewable raw materials, the project will reduce CO₂ emissions and boost regional industry.

Over £21 million funding for SP Energy Networks

SP Energy Networks has received over £21 million from Ofgem’s Strategic Innovation Fund to support three major projects. These projects aim to promote the use of renewable energy, improve the resilience of the electricity grid, and reduce CO2 emissions. The projects include smarter electricity networks, the use of offshore wind energy as a backup for electricity, and greener rail systems—measures that will help the UK move toward a low-carbon, more sustainable future. PNO Innovation helped secure the funding for these projects.

CO2-absorbing bricks Vandersanden

Europe’s largest family-owned brick manufacturing company, Vandersanden, recently opened the Pirrouet® factory in Lanklaar. This factory has been specially designed to produce CO2-absorbing bricks – a project that we have supported from the outset (two R&D grants) through the setting up of the production facilities (a combination of various grants) to marketing (an exploitation grant). Together, these grants represent a total value of approximately 2 million Euro.
