We are looking for a Freelance Technical Expert to collaborate with PNO Spain in preparing and validating the technical documentation for R&D&I tax credits. Your technical expertise will ensure robust and compliant justification of clients’ R&D and innovation activities before the tax authorities.

What are you going to do?

You will join PNO Innovation’s network of technical experts, supporting our fiscal and innovation consultants in the assessment, drafting, and technical validation of projects eligible for R&D&I tax credits.

Analyse client projects to determine their R&D or technological innovation content.
Prepare or validate technical reports supporting R&D&I tax credit claims.
Identify innovative activities, technical milestones, and measurable outcomes.
Collaborate with consultants to gather and verify technical evidence.

Draft clear, precise, and compliant technical documentation for tax authorities.
Ensure consistency between technical and financial documentation.
Stay up to date on relevant Spanish tax and certification criteria (CDTI, ENAC, MINECO).
Contribute flexibly and punctually depending on project demand.

About you

Degree in engineering, science, or technology.
Proven experience in R&D&I activities and technical reporting.
Deep understanding of Spanish R&D&I tax credit criteria and regulations.
Previous experience preparing or reviewing technical reports for tax purposes.

Familiarity with official certification processes (CDTI, AENOR, ENAC, etc.).
Excellent technical writing and analytical skills.
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Professional level of Spanish and good command of English (preferred).
