As an EU Project Compliance Consultant, you will manage the financial and administrative lifecycle of EU-funded projects, ensuring full compliance with European Commission rules and program requirements.

You will act as the main point of contact for clients on all post-award topics, including financial reporting, audits, and project coordination. This role is ideal for professionals with strong attention to detail, a structured mindset, and experience in EU project financial management.

What are you going to do?

Ensure that EU-funded projects are financially sound, compliant, and audit-ready, while supporting clients in navigating complex funding rules and administrative processes.
  • Manage financial and administrative follow-up of EU-funded projects (Horizon Europe, H2020, LIFE, EDF)
  • Prepare and review financial statements, cost reports, and supporting documentation
  • Ensure compliance with EU eligibility rules (personnel, subcontracting, indirect costs, etc.)
  • Act as main client contact for financial and administrative topics
  • Support and coordinate audits and reviews (CFS, EC audits)
  • Monitor budgets, cost allocation, and project spending
  • Guide clients on best practices in grant management and compliance
  • Coordinate with internal consultants and external project partners

About you

  • 2–6 years of experience in EU project financial management, audits, or grant administration
  • Strong knowledge of Horizon Europe / H2020 financial rules (other programs are a plus)
  • Experience with financial reporting, cost eligibility, or audits (CFS)
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers and documentation
  • Client-facing mindset with strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (professional level)
  • Experience with EU portals/tools (Funding & Tenders Portal, SyGMa) is a plus
