We are looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial Business Developer to expand our Tax Credit services in Germany (Forschungszulage). You will focus on market analysis, lead generation, client acquisition, and service development, working closely with our delivery and digital teams to position PNO as a trusted partner in the R&D incentive landscape. 

What are you going to do?

Your mission is to develop and grow the R&D Tax Credit business in Germany by creating new opportunities, converting them into long-term client relationships, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our service offering.
  • Identify, qualify, and acquire new clients in the German market. 
  • Build strong client relationships and convert opportunities into contracts. 
  • Develop and expand our R&D Tax Credit service offering. 
  • Represent PNO Innovation at industry events, fairs, and panels. 
  • Collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth transition
  • Work with PNO Digital/Development teams to enhance digital tools and processes. 
  • Conduct market and data analysis to identify trends and opportunities. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor, promoting PNO’s thought leadership in the sector.

About you

  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or client acquisition. 
  • Experience in funding, grants, or R&D incentives (especially in the German market) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify client needs, technically assess project elegibilities and market gaps.
  • Excellent communication and networking abilities — diplomatic, persuasive, persistent. 
  • Native German speaker with strong English skills (internal collaboration & international clients with German branch). 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently and proactively. 
  • Based in Germany, with flexibility to travel occasionally. 
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, international, and remote-first environment.
