Do you have an innovative idea that can change the world? ERC supports the real trailblazers whose ideas tackle the biggest challenges and can potentially generate the strongest impact. PNO is an expert in co-creating your winning proposal!
The European Research Council is the greatest source of funding for groundbreaking research that aims at pushing the frontier of scientific knowledge. The newest ERC 2022 Work Programme, released in June 2021, offers €2.45 billion – the largest budget to date – to support the real trailblazers whose ideas tackle the biggest challenges and can potentially generate the strongest impact.
The ERC 2022 Programme includes several important changes, such as the requirement of a Gender Equality Plan from the host institution in which the ERC-funded research will be carried out. This plan does not need to be present at the time of application or evaluation; however, it will be necessary by the time the grant is signed by the PI. Moreover, the scientific council has signed the DORA declaration, and researchers will also be able to indicate possible career setbacks caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in the proposal.
Are you a leader in your field, and do you have a new idea that has great breakthrough potential? Have you come up with a revolutionary solution for a long-standing problem? Then you may consider applying to one of the ERC grants, depending on where you are in your scientific path.
At PNO, we are experts in challenging your idea and elevating your concept to ERC excellence standards. Do you aspire to win an ERC Starting, Consolidator, or Advanced Grant? Get in touch with our consultants who are experts in co-creating winning ERC proposals.
