Protecting climate and environment and preserving nature

Within the LIFE program, companies, public organizations and NGOs can receive alluring grants for demonstration and pilot projects dedicated to improving the environment and climate. It addresses a wide range of themes, including nature conservation, climate change mitigation and adaptation, environmental governance, and information. Since its inception in 1992, LIFE has co-financed thousands of projects, contributing to the implementation, updating, and development of EU environmental and climate policy and legislation by co-financing projects with European added value.
