IPCEI

Supporting breakthrough innovation and infrastructure projects

The Important Projects of Common European Interest initiative (IPCEAI) aims to support large-scale innovation and infrastructure projects that contribute significantly to the European Union’s strategic objectives. These projects address critical market failures and focus on areas like hydrogen, microelectronics, and battery technology.

Objective of the funding

The IPCEI framework facilitates state aid for large, cross-border projects that tackle key societal challenges and support the development of critical technologies. Such projects make it possible to bring together knowledge, expertise, financial resources and economic actors throughout the EU, so as to overcome important market or systemic failures and societal challenges. If your project fits within this scope, we can help you apply for IPCEI funding.
