Innterconecta Step 2025 themes

INNTERCONECTA-STEP 2025 funds cooperative R&D projects with an interregional focus and technology readiness levels between TRL 4 and 7. These company-led projects must align with Regulation (EU) 2024/795, which defines Europe’s strategic technologies. The programme aims to promote the development of disruptive technologies with high industrial, territorial, and social impact. It also seeks to address the shortage of skilled labour and strengthen technical capabilities in key sectors.

Projects must align with one or more of the following three priority sectors:

AI, microelectronics, cybersecurity, connectivity, software, …

Green energy, hydrogen, storage, energy efficiency, etc.

Applications in health, agriculture, food, bioindustries…

The new INNTERCONECTA-STEP 2025 call, published by CDTI, is an excellent opportunity for companies to develop collaborative R&D projects and access public funding in strategic sectors that are key to Europe’s future. This funding scheme is part of the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform (STEP) and supports the European strategy to strengthen industrial and technological sovereignty, fostering collaboration between companies and knowledge centres.
