Federal Funding for Energy and Resource Efficiency in the Economy (EEW)

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs supports projects to improve energy efficiency in companies with up to 20 million euros.

The EEW funding program includes several modules (1 to 6) that support various measures to improve energy efficiency in companies. The goal of all EEW program modules is to increase energy efficiency in the economy, reduce CO₂ emissions, and help companies become more sustainable and competitive.

Is your project eligible?

To qualify for the EEW funding program “Energy Efficiency in Business,” projects must meet certain requirements. These vary depending on the module, but some are universally applicable: The project must improve energy efficiency and significantly reduce energy or resource consumption as well as CO₂ emissions. Additionally, many projects require a minimum energy savings to be eligible. Correctly assigning projects to the modules can be challenging.
